Bloglette: Fake Facebook Ads

It’s hard to believe that a multibillion dollar global company can’t manage it’s own advertising platform. Reports suggest that when small advertisers buy Facebook ads to boost likes on their pages, some of the people are fakes. Here is the link to the article from Business Insider: Click Here.

The danger for small advertisers is that Facebook activity affects Google rankings for their businesses.  Fake ‘likers’ do not comment, share or otherwise participate in the site.  Other firms, such as Yelp and Trip Advisor have policies to limit fake reviews.  Why can’t Facebook find the fakes?
